The Shawnee Park Sports Complex serves as one of the largest youth and adult outdoor sports venues in the region. 14 regulation sized soccer fields, eight fields for baseball and softball and two regulation football fields make this a key destination for tournaments. Two regulation sized baseball fields with 375 foot center field fences and six regulation sized softball fields with 300 foot fences made this an easy choice as a host site for the Cal Ripken 8U Machine Pitch Regional Tournament and the USA Men’s Class D Slow Pitch Northern National. The city will also host games at Arena Park and Capaha Ballfield for the men’s softball tournament, which will run from August 31-September 1 in 2019.
