The Minoru Centre for Active Living (MCAL) officially opened in 2019 as Richmond’s newest facility and is an innovative 110,000 square foot multipurpose complex. Located in the heart of Richmond, this new facility is sure to be a hub of Richmond’s sport and recreation.

The facility features an impressive design bringing together a Seniors Centre, Fitness and Aquatic Centre, and an Events Centre to support outdoor fields at the adjacent Minoru Park. MCAL features a large leisure pool with river run, a double water slide, and other water amenities. It also features a lap pool with water climbing wall and teach pool with accessible features. Included in the facility is also a wellness area with an adult and family hot tub, a cold plunge pool, steam room, and two saunas.

The events centre features a multipurpose space, eight team change rooms, a referee room, a first aid room, and concession for tournaments and special events. Additional meeting and banquet spaces are also available.
