About Killens Pond State Park

Natural and recreational opportunities abound at Killens Pond State Park, centrally located in the heart of Kent County. Killens Pond offers an opportunity to rent an affordable vacation cabin, RV site or tent site. The park's centerpiece is the 66-acre millpond which features boating and fishing. The all new Killens Pond Water Park offers resort entertainment in a serene, natural setting.

Killens Pond is only about an 1½ hour drive from either the northern or southern boundary, Killens Pond makes a perfect home base for exploring the First State. Open year-round, the park's campground and cozy cabins are popular retreats no matter what the season.

Killens Pond State Park is 1,443 acres of land located in Felton, Delaware. We are about an hour from Wilmington, and two hours from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC.

The Murderkill River's natural bounty drew Native Americans and settlers to the ancient waterways. The remaining habitat surrounding the millpond provides a recreational oasis for today's visitors.
