About Saint Thomas Ice Arena

14 years ago, a group of STA hockey boosters led by Frank Lang, Gene Nelson, Danny Commerce, and Les Knoke had the vision of a home sheet of ice for the Cadets. Up until that time the Cadets were vagabonds, renting ice at other schools arenas.

This 1st class facility includes numerous locker rooms, a hospitality room, laundry facilities, and an elevator to the stands for handicap access.

An extensive 9,400 square foot dry land training addition has been recently added by MAP South that will transform off-ice training.

What started as a dream to build this arena has since resulted in many victories and championships.
