About Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex

Nearly 10 years old, the Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex is the thriving home to our rugby clubs – youth through adult. It’s also building credibility both locally and nationally as one of the country’s best and more promising competitive athletic grounds, welcoming other community athletic events such as hurling, soccer, and bicycling.

These early investments helped our local rugby community accomplish:

Purchasing and developing land
Creating two high-quality rugby fields with a lush carpet of grass, including our east pitch which is sized for championships
Adding a pavilion, bleachers to seat 1,500-plus fans, and a paved patio and walkways to welcome visitors of all ages
Helping Cottage Grove develop the surrounding land into youth soccer fields, a large playground, and large parking lot
Generating more than $2 million in economic benefits to the Village of
Cottage Grove and Dane County
