About National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA)

The NHPA is a not for profit organization that has a membership of just under 8000. Our members age from 5 to 95 years of age. Horseshoe Pitching is a sport that is for EVERYONE! A true family tradition and great pastime. Our organization executive council is composed of seven members from across the USA. The NHPA is the official governing body of sanctioned and maybe professional horseshoe pitching across the World, hints our World Tournament. Our organization meets annually to conduct the World Championships. Crowning our world champions in nine divisions each summer. The beautiful Hall of Fame & Museum sits in Wentzville, Missouri. Our prized facility. This international sport delivers many friendships each year and connect people from all walks of life. We would love to have you join our horseshoe family.

Mission statement

The purpose of the NHPA shall be to develop, foster, and promote organized horseshoe pitching at the local, state, regional, national, and international levels; as a recreational pastime and as a competitive sport; by providing direction, organization, published materials, and approved equipment, to enhance the sport.
