See nearly 1,800 street rods, muscle cars, custom cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles from all over the Central United States and farther; each manufactured more than 30 years ago at the least.  In addition to lots of chrome, beautiful paint, and luxurious interiors, these cars have modern chassis features such as state-of-the-art suspensions, four-wheel disc brakes, along with comfort features like air conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering, exotic stereos, and much much more.

The 2024 Teenage CrossFit Games® are coming to Kalamazoo! This championship competition crowns the Fittest Teens on Earth®. One hundred twenty world-class athletes ages 14-17 will compete Aug. 29-Sept. 1, at Wings Event Center (with one day at The Pit Fitness Ranch about a half-hour south in Three Rivers). Another 150 athletes ages 14-22 will compete Wednesday, Aug. 28. This world-class competition for the teenagers commenced in 2015 and, in 2024, was awarded to Brock Yost of Triple River CrossFit and his team in Three Rivers to organize.

On August 24th, the most over the top baseball game with new rules is coming to Kalamazoo, MI. The Northern Nut Smugglers will comprise a roster of players exclusively from social media influencers, YouTubers and celebrities. The Kalamazoo Growlers All-Stars will comprise their roster from former players, MLB HR leaders and more.

LGBTQ+ sports leagues offer a welcoming and inclusive environment where athletes of all identities can enjoy their favorite sports. These leagues promote diversity, inclusivity, and equality, providing a supportive space for both seasoned athletes and newcomers. The 2024 Teenage CrossFit Games are set to take place in Kalamazoo, bringing together 270 athletes from 29 countries for a week-long competition. This international event will showcase the talents and skills of teenage CrossFit athletes worldwide. The Teenage CrossFit Games will take place August 28 – September 1 and will be Kalamazoo’s first international sporting event.
