A Guide to The Ogden Bike Park - Visit Ogden
From the fun to the downright funky, Ogden, Utah is anything but your typical mountain town. There are plenty of things to do in Northern Utah when you're in Ogden. Discover three world-class ski resorts located just 20 minutes from downtown, and enjoy 450 inches of powdery snow each season. Anglers, canoers and kayakers have their choice of the Ogden and Weber Rivers, along with over 13,000 acres of freshwater lakes teeming with largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, perch, bluegill, tiger muskie and walleye. If outdoor adventure is your priority, explore the Wasatch Mountain Range or set off for any of the eleven national parks within a day’s drive of downtown Ogden. And don’t forget Historic 25th Street, featuring eclectic shopping and our vibrant nightlife district.
Located on Interstate 15, just 35 miles north of Salt Lake City, the Ogden area is the perfect destination for high adventure play, laid back downtown exploration and group getaways. As an alternative to Salt Lake International, the Ogden-Hinckley Airport is just a few minutes southwest of the city. Known as the “Best Little Airport in the West,” it has been featured in several Hollywood movies, including “Con Air.” Allegiant Air now offers commercial service from Phoenix / Mesa, AZ to Ogden.
