The Broward County Convention Center with more than 350,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space is home to numerous conventions, trade shows, meetings, consumer shows, sporting competitions and large events. The ASM Global-managed Convention Center consistently exceeds guest and meeting planner expectations by offering a five-star food service, state-of the-art technology, Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED®) Gold-certified, and outstanding service in a modern, eco-friendly facility in a spectacular location. The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center is undergoing a $1.3 billion expansion project. The transformed venue will be bigger and better than ever at 1.2 million sq. ft. with a spectacular 65,000 sq. ft. waterfront ballroom, a 801 rooms connecting upscale headquarter hotel operated by Omni, plus original dining concepts, enhanced water-taxi access, and an expansive outdoor waterfront plaza. The East Expansion is expected to be completed by fall 2025.
