TGL presented by SoFi, the new tech-infused, team golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports in partnership with the PGA TOUR, today announced its inaugural season schedule, premiering Tuesday, Jan. 7 on ESPN and ESPN+. The schedule includes 15 regular season matches, then a four-team Semifinals, before culminating with the top two teams competing to win the SoFi Cup in a best-of-three Finals Series on Monday, March 24, and Tuesday, March 25.

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission has announced that the eighth annual Holiday Basketball Classic of The Palm Beaches will take place on December 27-28 and 30, 2024. This premier high school basketball invitational is set to bring together top teams from across the nation to compete at various venues throughout the region.

The Palm Beaches will once again host world-class equestrian sports with the return of the Holiday & Horses Circuit, scheduled from November 27 to December 22, 2024, at Wellington International. This annual event, held before the prestigious Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), has become a standalone attraction, boosting the Palm Beach County economy by extending the impact of equestrian sports.

The NCAA recently announced its selection of over 240 host sites for the preliminary and final rounds of its predetermined championships across Divisions I, II, and III.

When the first puck drops on September 27 at the Florida Women’s Hockey League’s Lake Worth Tournament at the Palm Beach Skate Zone, it will mark the final hockey event of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission’s fiscal year—a year that saw record growth for the sport.

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is supporting the Service Academies Golf Foundation in hosting the second edition of The Commander-in-Chief’s Cup. On October 12–15, 2024, three of the nation’s most respected collegiate institutions will send their service academy golf teams to compete against each other in The Palm Beaches. These institutions, which include the United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy, and United States Air Force Academy, will contend for The Commander-in-Chief’s Cup at the historic Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach.

The African American Golf Expo & Forum will be held in The Palm Beaches from August 23-27, 2024. Organized by Jim Beatty, Palm Beach County Sports Commission, and Malachi Knowles (Inner City Youth Golfers), the event will take place at several venues, including the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott, the Riviera Beach Marina Village – Event Center, and John Prince Park.

Ice hockey has been making an impact in South Florida even before the Florida Panthers recent run at the Stanley Cup. The executive director for the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, George Linley, said the growth of ice hockey in the county over the last decade has been tremendous.

The Palm Beaches is a top destination for a variety of sporting events, thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities and ideal year-round climate. Baseball, in particular, thrives here with two Major League Baseball (MLB) Spring Training facilities: Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium and CACTI Park of The Palm Beaches. These premier venues attract both amateur and professional events, reinforcing The Palm Beaches’ status as a hub for sports tourism.
