Exciting stars such as Ilona Maher, Simone Biles, and Caitlyn Clark are getting their deserved attention, and women’s sports are making headlines. But the Washtenaw County Celebration of Girls and Women in Sports was already honoring women athletes.

Ann Arbor has always been a big sports town – but it’s not just football making waves here in Michigan. An eight-lane, Olympic-level rowing course opened this April on Ford Lake in Ypsilanti, another college town and destination just a short drive from downtown Ann Arbor.

We were excited to learn about the upcoming NCAA Bid Cycle in Indianapolis this week. We cannot wait to partner with our local institutions to bid on Championship events to Washtenaw County!
