12 junior golfers recognized as finalists for prestigious award The American Junior Golf Association and the United States Golf Association (USGA) are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2024 USGA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award. The USGA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award was created to recognize one male and one female junior golfer who demonstrate leadership, character and community service through their involvement with the Leadership Links program – a joint initiative founded by the USGA and AJGA in 2005 to further develop junior golfers through volunteerism.

BROUSSARD, LA – Jodie Han of (Canada) Lewis Center, Ohio wins the Girls Division at the 1st Clubs for Kids Foundation Junior All-Star Invitational with a tournament total of 13-under-par 203. This marks her third victory of the 2024 AJGA season.

Jackson Byrd of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, and Asterisk Talley of Chowchilla, California, are the champions of The 18th PING Invitational. Byrd and Talley both finished the event with a 7-under-par 209. Both champions won the event by two strokes.

Golf Digest shares the American Junior Golf Association is set to host an end-of-the-year auction fundraiser to support junior golfers without the financial resources to compete in national golf events. The proceeds will go toward the AJGA’s Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant program, with the auction opening at 6 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 21 and closing at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25.
