Prospect Wire is extremely thrilled to announce our return to Ogden, Utah for the second year in a row, building on the success of last year’s event. The tournament will showcase top youth baseball talent while highlighting Ogden’s facilities and amenities.

Prospect Wire is excited to announce a brand new event coming to our Spring tournament lineup. Running at the same time as the Snowbird Classic, a collegiate baseball event in Port Charlotte, Prospect Wire’s NextGen divisions (13U, 14U) will host a tournament alongside the college games. With teams already beginning to sign up, PW is excited for the prospects of the event and its future.

Prospect Wire is coming off a record-setting 2024 campaign that saw nearly 1300 teams attend an event across the country. With 36 total events hosted, it was the biggest schedule in PW history. Flash forward to 2025, and Spring registrations are already in full swing. After hosting a record-setting 205 teams last spring, Prospect Wire already has surpassed that figure in 2025, with many events nearly sold out.

Prospect Wire is looking to bring a 1st time event to the state of Minnesota this September as the Southern Minnesota Fall Classic comes to the Rochester area next month. A 3 game guarantee, the event will be held at facilities like the Rochester Baseball Complex, Mayo Field, Massey Field and Hudson Field.

After a year away in 2023, Prospect Wire will return to Peoria, AZ and the Peoria Sports Complex for Labor Day Weekend. The event, a 4 game guarantee, will take place at the gorgeous spring training facility of the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres. Action will take place Saturday & Sunday, with pool play games. Playoffs for advancing teams will be held on Monday.

After a record setting summer, Prospect Wire will soon be ready to shift gears for the 2024 Fall season, which kicks off Labor Day weekend in Peoria, AZ. “We are excited to see how the fall goes,” stated Prospect Wire President Brian Werner. “This year, we have several new events on the calendar, including potential new states in North Carolina and Minnesota. We hope to see many new teams taking the field at a PW event this fall.”

While summer has just kicked off around the country, teams are already beginning their preparation for the fall season. Tryouts are being organized and schedules are being laid out.

With multiple events in the Spring, the Firecracker in the Summer, and some Fall & Winter events as well, USA Premier and Prospect Wire are excited to bring things like live streaming via Athletes Go Live, stats, leaderboards, player profiles, player awards, all-tournament teams, social media coverage, scouting coverage and more!

The tournament will feature a 3 game guarantee, with all games taking place in Sterlington. Teams will compete in DH action on Saturday, with reseeding on Sunday leading to the playoff brackets. The event is open to ages 13-18U teams.

! With a talented field of teams already registered and more coming each week, the event is shaping up to be another successful partnership for Prospect Wire & the Palm Beach Sports Commission.

Every year since 2012, Prospect Wire has kicked off the summer on the west coast, with a first class event in Mesa, Arizona. Originally called the West Coast National Championships, it was quickly rebranded to give it a more appropriate feel for an early summer event. Many teams were not quite ready for a “National Championship” right out of the gate, so the event focused more on kicking off the summer, rather than proclaiming greatness out of the shoot.

Games will be held at local HS & Community Fields, as well as historic Lindquist Stadium, home of the 2023 Pioneer League Champion Ogden Raptors! Come be a part of something different this year in Ogden, UT.

Prospect Wire returns to Arizona for it’s 12th summer this year. With 2 events in Mesa: The West Coast Championships (June 1-5) & Southwest Championships (June 29-July 2) will descend on Mesa, AZ once again.

For the first time, Prospect Wire will run an event in Louisiana as we head to the Sterlington Sports Complex in West Monroe for the Northern Louisiana Open. The 3 game guarantee will feature a DH on Saturday, with playoffs on Sunday. All games will take place in one location. Registration is open, learn more here!

PW Baseball is excited to run their first event in the great state of Utah, this June 7-10. Visit Ogden & Prospect Wire are excited to host a tournament for the first time in this rich with talent area of the country. Utilizing local high school fields, as well as one of the best Pioneer League stadiums, Lindquist Field (home of the 2023 Pioneer League Champ Ogden Raptors). The event will also feature a showcase on Friday night in the stadium.

For the first time, PW Baseball will host an event in Louisiana. The Northern Louisiana Open will feature games at the Sterlington Sports Complex, June 21-23, for ages 14U – 18U. The event will feature scouting, stats, leaderboards, all-tournament teams, and much more. Registration is open at play.prospectwire.com or through Playeasy on our page. We are also excited to partner with Monroe/West Monroe CVB on this brand-new PW Baseball event.

PW Baseball is excited to venture out to west Texas and the brand new Cyclone Ballparks in Peco for the 2024 West Texas Open, June 28-30. Registration is open through Playeasy or directly at our website!

For the last 15 years, Prospect Wire’s Southeast Championships have brought talented teams to Palm Beach, Sarasota, Polk County, and back to where it all started in Palm Beach. The event will take place at one of the best Spring Training facilities in the country, Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, home to the Astros & Nationals. The event features a 4 game guarantee, with single elimination playoffs for advancing teams. With a heavy scouting presence and some of the best players in the state, this year’s event is expected to be one of the best in years.
